Who am I?

I’m Jason King, a Bristol based Web Designer who believes that the web is a beautiful place to let ideas flow and help push our creative standards as high as possible.

I’ve been a web designer for around 5 years now, starting with minor personaly projects and then progressing in to larger and more detailed projects for me and my clients.

I believe that design is everything for a website. But it must go hand in hand with functionality and thats what I achieve best. Great, clean looking website designs, whilst maintaining functionality that will leave the website visitors happy and unstressed. I aslo feel my clients should have an easy time when dealing with an art they arn’t certain of (Web Design) and thats why I make life for my clients as easy as possible!

Most of my website design and design skills are self taught, doing my BTEC National Diploma in Multimedia inspired me to dig into design and code skills deeper!

My Background
I started working on design after in the final year of secondary school, it was only basic design and I felt I should develop my skills by doing a course in Multimedia at college. This was a BTEC National Diplomia which I studdied for 2 years.

After passing my course and learning alot about design and basics of website development I started to teach myself more and more and learn basics of all the programs I was taught, which was the majority of the Adobe suit and programs like Cinema 4D, Final Cut Pro and more.

I then went on to do a foundation degree in Digital Media Production. This course covered something which is another love of mine, video editing. Whilst I found the course easy I spent a lot of my spare time learning more about website design and helping out friends with portfolio websites and even getting some website design freelance work!

After I finnished my course I was hired by a media production company called “Techsec Media” covered most multi media platforms but there main work was video production. I built the companies website from the ground up and helped get the website listed highly in Googles search results for the search term “Bristol Video Prodution”

Whilst I still work for Techsec Media with website design and a little video production I have been known as there “Web guru” and “Tech guy”
